The Holdout Rooms function as a checkpoint in the dungeon, usually where some kind of combat challenge will occur (Elite Rush, Survival, ect). I Was given the Design Blockouts for numerous holdout rooms in a myriad of tile sets all across the game. Then it was just a matter of making them interesting while still fitting with the tone/theming of the original dungeon.
